i am 46. i know gilberts songs from my youth. i havent listened to them for quite a while. my partner rediscovered gilberts stuff recently and wants a cd for xmas. i have just been on youtube and actually listened to the lyrics of alone again naturally. (something i didnt really do when i was 9)
i had no idea they are so beautiful. i just had to tell you.

Saw the show in york as we did 2 years ago, brilliant again. 37 songs ! amazing.
Missed the last train back to Leeds but who cares it was worth it. We were never going to leave early, caught a bus as far as we could then our son picked us up for the rest of the journey. Can't wait for the next tour. Please do Leeds and Bradford and York next time then we can see you at all these venue's.

The show at the RAH in London was the second opportunity (last year in Antwerp) to see Gilbert in action. This man is as a good wine : the older he grows the better ! (we have the same age) What an ambience, what a perfomance ! It's really a shame that here in our country (Belgium), the broadcasting corporation is hardly releasing his songs. Anyway I'm looking forward to see him again in 2010. Thanks Gilbert, I'll cherish these beautiful moments for a long time.

Superb concert at the Royal Albert Hall on 26 Oct. Excellent band and singers, awesome string quartet, marvellous songs both old and new. Met the man himself afterwards and obtained his autograph. I can't get the opening number, "Take Your Foot Off My Toe" out of my head. Thanks for a brilliant concert, look forward to the next one. Cheers - Andrew.

I saw the show at the Royal Albert Hall earlier this week and Mr O'Sullivan proved himself as the superb songwriter and performer that I've always believed him to be. I look forward to the new album in February, most especially the incredible new song about 911 and people telephoning their loved ones. Amazing!

It would have been my parents' anniversary on the 29th and I always do something with my mum as my dad passed away in 2002. It took me a long time to be able to listen to Alone Again after he died.

We took her to see him in York and when he did it, we looked at each other with tears in our eyes.

I have a 24 year old daughter who lives in France and who was force fed my music as a youngster. She's home for a week and I told her on the Sunday how good the concert was. She said she was sorry she'd missed it so we booked tickets for Manchester for the last night.

When the announcement was made that he would sign autographs, Elizabeth looked at me and said "Go on then, you know you want to".

I asked him to write "I bagsy being in goal" across the photo of him and Muhammad Ali & we spoke about We Will and I told him about my mum, Alone Again & my girl being here from France - what a truly wonderful man, very underated but in my view one of the most powerful artists.

The memories, the memories, your hits from my teen years (70's) will always be treasured. I'm certain Gilbert could sell out the Red Robinson Theater in Vancouver, Canada, if a North American tour was ever considered! Listening to Can't Think Straight as I type this, so many great tunes!
